Christmas Cactus

This stunning winter blooming houseplant is a popular addition to most indoor settings.  Arching branches made up of flat, glossy green segments produce incredible 3” tiered flower petals.  Red, white, gold, pink or purple flowers emerge each year during the holidays.

Size:  3’

Light:  Moderate to bright indirect light.  To produce blooms allow for 12 to 14 hours of total darkness at night and 10 to 12 hours of indirect light during the day for four to six weeks.  Plants should bloom in about six weeks following this process.

Water:  Allow soil to slightly dry between watering

Feed:  Use a high potassium fertilizer every two weeks

Toxicity:  None
